Ethical Case Study 2: Sally Goes to College

A fundamental facet of ethics in counseling is definitely the right to up to date consent. The American Therapies Association Ethical Decision Making Model provides advisors with a blueprint for making honest decisions while placing an emphasis on principles and guidelines and is suitable in resolving the moral dilemma contained in this case study (Miller & Davis, 1996).

ACA Style

The ACA Code of Ethics says, " the moment counselors are faced with ethical dilemmas which might be difficult to resolve, they are expected to engage in a carefully deemed ethical making decisions model” (ACA, 2005).
