The characters manipulate each other for personal gain and politics gain which keeps the film moving, and also helps the main character, Mister. Smith, expand, learn, and progress as a part of the senate.

The group is considered on this quest with the primary character Mr. Jefferson Johnson, who is performed by Adam Stewart. I believed his persona was the many relatable mainly because in the film he was experiencing everything about the US United states senate for the first time.
